THOSE who are fuming mad that disbarred lawyer and defeated senatorial candidate Larry Gadon has been gifted by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. with the portfolio of anti-poverty czar, should instead heave a sigh of relief.

ILOILO Governor Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr. has exhorted his constituents to elect only competent, smart and responsible leaders during the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections on October 30, 2023.

WE can’t blame Iloilo City officials led by Mayor Geronimo “Jerry” Treñas and Lone District Rep. Julienne “Jamjam” Baronda if they nearly went berserk over the weekend and threatened to declare an Armageddon against the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
