President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged continued public service amid controversies, following a notable rise in his satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The June 2025 survey showed 46% of Filipinos were satisfied with Marcos’ performance, up from 38% in April, resulting in a net satisfaction rating of +10, a 20-point jump from April’s -10.

Speaking in Masbate during a relief visit for Typhoon Opong victims, the President said he was surprised by the ratings but emphasized that the government’s focus remains on delivering services.

“I guess we just have to keep working.

He added that while he doesn’t pay much attention to surveys, he appreciates the people’s recognition of the government’s efforts.

The Chief Executive also stressed that public servants must stay focused on their duty.
