President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered 24/7 clearing of roads rendered impassable by Super Typhoon Uwan to ensure the safety of motorists and affected residents.

Presidential Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said the DPWH has been working round-the-clock to clear and repair damaged roads nationwide.

So far, 26 national roads have reopened, while clearing continues in 13 areas in CAR, 10 in Region II, eight in Region V, and one each in NCR, Regions I, III, and XII.

Castro said more roads are expected to reopen soon following the DPWH’s ongoing operations.IMT
