President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has reaffirmed his commitment to provide every Filipino family with a safe and affordable home during the opening of the National Housing Expo 2025 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Marcos Jr. said the expo highlights the government’s partnership with the private sector and housing agencies to expand housing programs, simplify processes, and strengthen support for the sector.

He cited the Green Lane Program, which promotes climate-resilient homes, and praised Pag-IBIG Fund for helping over 57,000 members move into or improve their homes this year. Pag-IBIG also released nearly ₱75 billion in cash loans benefiting about three million members.

Under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, low-income earners and OFWs can avail of housing loans with interest rates as low as 3% per year. Beneficiaries of the 4Ps program are also eligible.

In line with National Shelter Month, the President announced that land occupants from Laguna, Lucena, Iloilo, and Caloocan will now receive ownership rights through Presidential Proclamations.

Marcos Jr. thanked developers, financial institutions, and private partners for helping make the government’s housing goals a reality.

“Ilan lamang ito sa mga patunay na ang pangarap, basta’t sinamahan ng tiyaga at may suporta mula sa pamahalaan, sa pribadong sektor, lahat ng sektor ng ating lipunan ay kayang maging reyalidad.”IMT
