President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced a major rollback in fuel prices starting Tuesday, April 14, with diesel set to drop by more than P20 per liter, gasoline by over P4, and kerosene by more than P8.

“Simula Martes, April 14, may malaking rollback sa presyo ng langis… Mahigit P20 ang ibababa sa diesel,” the President said, calling it a big relief for motorists and commuters.

The price cuts are part of government efforts to cushion the impact of rising global oil prices and ease daily expenses of Filipino families.

However, Marcos Jr. admitted the rollback is not enough to fully address the burden of high costs. “Hindi pa ito sapat,” he said, assuring the public that more actions are underway.

The President added that additional measures and assistance programs will be announced in the coming days to further reduce transportation, food, and overall living expenses nationwide.IMT
