Boracay Island recorded an increase in tourist arrivals in April this year, data from the tourism office of Malay in Aklan showed.
The world-famous island welcomed a total of 195,487 tourists from April 1 to 30, 2025, higher compared to 182,647 arrivals in the same month last year.
Of the latest figure, 163,133 were domestic tourists; 30,153 were foreign visitors and 1,623 were overseas Filipinos and overseas Filipino workers.
Boracay, known for its powdery-white sand and clear waters, is one of the country’s top tourist drawer.IMT
