More than 231 thousand local and foreign tourists visited Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan, in the first month of 2026.
Based on data from the Malay-Boracay Tourism Office, the world-famous island welcomed a total of 213, 281 tourists in January 2026.
Of the number, 159, 415 were domestic tourists; 47,276 were international visitors; and 6,590 were overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and overseas Filipinos (OFs).
