Low-cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) resumed Wednesday, May 14, its normal operations for flights via Bacolod and Iloilo — routes that were affected by Kanlaon Volcano’s eruption early Tuesday, May 13.

CEB canceled 23 flights to and from the two routes on Tuesday. AirAsia also cancelled its Bacolod flights, while Philippine Airlines cancelled its Bacolod and Iloilo flights.

“While normal operations resume, CEB will continue to offer flexible options, including free rebooking and travel fund, to passengers who still wish to postpone their flights to and from Bacolod and Iloilo scheduled today, May 14, 2025,” it said in an advisory.

Those options can be availed up to two hours before their scheduled flight.

“We sincerely thank our passengers for their patience and understanding during this disruption. Our focus remains on providing safe, reliable, and accessible flights for all our valued customers,” CEB said.PNA
