No more long lines and waiting times.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is now offering driver’s license renewal through the eGovPH mobile app, making it easier for Filipinos to process their license anytime, anywhere.

In support of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s push for full digitalization of government services, the LTO—under the guidance of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon—is urging the public to use this new online service.

“This is a major leap toward convenience and efficiency,” said LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, noting that the digital feature allows users to renew their licenses from the comfort of their homes or offices.

To use the service, clients must:
1. Download and install the eGovPH app (available on App Store and Google Play).
2. Register and complete the security verification.
3. On the app, go to the NGA icon, select LTO, then click Online Driver’s Application.
4. Choose Renew Your Driver’s License.
5. Upload or take photos of the front and back of your physical license.
6. Wait for 1–3 minutes for automated verification.
7. Review your details and click Submit.
8. Take a selfie following the app’s required photo guidelines.

The LTO encouraged drivers nationwide to try this faster and safer digital option for license renewals.IMT
