The Iloilo City Government’s markets and slaughterhouse collection reached more than P6 million for the month of April this year.

The Local Economic Enterprise Office (LEEO) collected a total of P6,659,735.33 from seven public markets and a slaughterhouse.

The slaughterhouse in Barangay Tacas, Jaro remained as the top revenue-generating facility in the city. It generated P2,297,757.45 last month.

Among the public markets, Iloilo Terminal Market or “Super” posted the highest collection with ₱1,891,609.49.

Iloilo Central Market accumulated the second highest collection with 709,508.53, followed by La Paz Public Market (P670,581.38), Jaro Big Market (P483,346.03), Mandurriao Public Market (P259,641.06), Arevalo Public Market (P220,612.16), and Jaro Small Market (P126,679.23).
