The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) successfully concluded its February anti-drug campaign, seizing over P13 million worth of illegal narcotics and arresting 71 personalities in 57 operations.

Despite a busy month of major events, including the Jaro Fiesta and the Paraw Regatta Festival, the ICPO maintained its aggressive stance against illegal drugs.

The operations resulted in the confiscation of approximately 1,912 grams of suspected illegal drugs last month.

Of the 71 suspects apprehended, 23 were identified as high-value individuals (HVIs) and 48 were street-level individuals (SLIs).

The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) led the units with a massive P7.47 million worth of recovery, followed by significant hauls from Iloilo City Police Stations 2 (La Paz) and 4 (Molo).

“Our campaign has no limitations—whether during major celebrations or on ordinary days, our fight continues,” said ICPO head Police Colonel Wilbert B. Parilla.IMT
