Law schools in Iloilo City produced more than a hundred new lawyers.

A total of 133 graduates of the University of San Agustin (USA), Central Philippine University (CPU), West Visayas State University (WVSU), and the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) passed the 2025 Bar Examinations.

The USA College of Law accounted for 71 of the number, followed by the CPU College of Law (46), WVSU College of Law (12) and the UP College of Law Extension Program in UPV (4).

Both the WVSU College of Law and the UP College of Law Extension Program in UPV achieved a 100 percent passing rate.

All in all, 5,594 passed the examinations, representing 48.98 percent of 11, 425 takers. The rate is higher compared to 2024’s 37.84 percent.

Jhenroniel Rhey Timola Sanchez of UP Diliman topped the examinations with a score of 92.70 percent.
