New home, new form!

After his successful stint with the Far Eastern University Tamaraws, Ilonggo Andrei Delicana has officially transferred to the University of Santo Tomas Golden Spikers.

Tracing his roots in Dumangas, Iloilo, Delicana’s transfer was announced on the UST Golden Squad – Indoor and Beach Volleyball’s Facebook page recently.

“A roaring welcome to ANDREI DELICANA! The former FEU standout and Outside Hitter was a key part of their incredible run in UAAP Season 85, and we’re thrilled to have this championship-winning talent to our golden team #GoUSTe,” the post captioned.

The 6-foot wing spiker made history in UAAP Season 85 by steering the FEU-Diliman Baby Tamaraws to their first-ever boys’ volleyball crown.

During his rookie collegiate year in Season 86, Delicana ranked 12th in scoring and ninth in spiking efficiency for the Tamaraws.

Despite Delicana’s strong run in the FEU, he left the squad after one season to continue his studies abroad before joining UST this year. Guided by the rules, he will serve a one-year residency before suiting up for the Golden Spikers in Seasons 89 and 90.IMT Sports
