Most Filipinos (71%) believe government officials involved in the anomalous flood control projects will be punished, according to a Pulse Asia survey conducted from September 27 to 30, 2025.
About 21% of respondents were undecided, while 8% think these officials will go unpunished.
The survey also showed that 45% trust the Senate and 38% trust the House of Representatives to uncover the truth behind the controversy.
Nearly half (46%) believe protest actions are an effective way to hold corrupt officials accountable, while 31% disagree and 23% are undecided.
The nationwide survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 Filipino adults.IMT
