President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos will visit Cambodia on September 7–9, 2025, upon the invitation of King Norodom Sihamoni.
They will be received by Senate President and Acting Head of State Hun Sen and his wife Bun Rany.
Marcos Jr. will also meet Prime Minister Hun Manet to strengthen cooperation in agriculture, higher education, tourism, cultural exchange, and the fight against transnational crimes.
The President is expected to address a business roundtable to push for broader trade and market access and will meet the Filipino community in Cambodia, now numbering over 7,000, many of whom work in education and services.
The visit reciprocates Hun Manet’s official trip to the Philippines in February 2025. The last Philippine presidential state visit to Cambodia was in 2016. The two nations established diplomatic ties in 1957.IMT
