President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has called on Filipinos to strengthen national unity and renew their faith as the country observes Holy Week.
The President urged the public to take time for “pause, rest, and reflection” during the sacred season.
He also reminded Filipinos of the love of Jesus Christ, whose journey from suffering to resurrection reflects sacrifice and hope.
“The Passion of Christ reminds us that true greatness is not found in power, but in sacrifice; not in privilege, but in service,” said Marcos Jr.
The Chief Executive called on the public to remain steadfast in faith, show compassion, and help others, especially in times of hardship.
Unity, he added, is key to building stronger communities and a more compassionate and prosperous “Bagong Pilipinas.”IMT
