Philippine Airlines (PAL) will stop all its turboprop flights from Manila to Antique and vice versa starting March 29 this year.

The decision to discontinue all its turboprop operations was announced by PAL, the flag carrier owned by the Tan family, on Monday, Feb. 2.

In its advisory, PAL explained that the turboprop withdrawal is in compliance with the Manila Slot Coordination Committee’s July 2025 resolution mandating the phaseout of turboprop services out of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

“With the mandated transition of turboprop services out of NAIA, PAL will introduce domestic jet frequencies beginning March 2026, expanding capacity on high-demand routes and providing passengers with more travel options,” the airline said.

PAL’s expanded weekly services include trip from Manila to Iloilo with up to 42 flights, and to Roxas City in Capiz up to 14 flights.

“[Those booked] on affected flights will receive updated itineraries, with options for rebooking, rerouting or refund as needed,” PAL said.

According to the airline, passengers with existing bookings for Manila-Antique flights will be re-routed to the Iloilo International Airport.IMT
