Malacañang has assured the public that the government remains proactive in addressing global challenges, especially the fuel crisis, through a coordinated response.

“Nakikita niyo kung gaano kabilis kumilos ang gobyerno… at kung gaano karami ang ginawa para sa taumbayan,” said Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.

Castro said a whole-of-government approach is in place, with agencies like the Department of Energy and Department of Foreign Affairs working together to secure alternative fuel sources from countries such as the U.S., Canada, South America, and Russia.

The Palace also cited ongoing aid, including transport subsidies, cash assistance for PUV drivers, fuel and fertilizer support for farmers and fisherfolk, and expanded access to affordable rice through Kadiwa outlets.IMT
