Malacañang has dismissed fresh rumors about the President’s condition, saying he remains well after the Holy Week break.

Palace press officer Claire Castro assured the public the Chief Executive is fine.

“Maayos po siya,” she said.

Castro also urged the public to rely on verified reports over social media speculation.

“Mas mangingibabaw dapat ang mainstream media kaysa sa mga socmed na walang basehan – so, huwag po tayo masyadong maniwala,” she said, citing the spread of fake news.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. underwent treatment for diverticulitis last January at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City and spent Holy Week with his family in Ilocos Norte.IMT
