Malacañang welcomed the latest Labor Force Survey results showing over 1.42 million new jobs created nationwide and a rise in labor force participation.

In a press briefing, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said the Marcos administration is committed to inclusive growth by providing more stable and decent jobs.

The government supports workers through programs like DOLE’s Life Assistance Program and the National Reintegration Network for returning overseas Filipino workers.

The Philippines also joins the ASEAN-led Digital and Green Skills for Youth initiative to prepare young Filipinos for future industries like green construction.

To boost employment, DOLE and 38 agencies issued a joint memorandum to speed up job-generating investments. TESDA and CHED are expanding training in semiconductor and electronics fields to meet growing demand.
