Malacañang welcomed Congress’ move to expedite discussions on the proposed anti-dynasty bill, saying it aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s position.

Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said the fast-tracking of the measure is a “positive sign,” noting that the President supports the proposal.

Castro made the remark when asked if Marcos Jr. would mention the bill in his upcoming State of the Nation Address.

She added that during the recent Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council meeting, it was reported that public consultations on the measure are already ongoing.

“So, hintayin po natin kung gaano po magiging kabilis ang pagtatrabaho po ng ating Kongreso at para maisumite nila ang binalangkas na bill para sa Pangulo at para maaral po ito,” according to her.IMT
