Malacañang said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is balancing aid for all sectors as fuel prices rise due to the Middle East crisis.
“Inaral po ng Pangulo at binalanse mabuti… nauna na pong mabigyan ang transportation sector,” said Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
The President has approved fuel subsidies and financial aid for transport workers, while deferring fare hikes to ease the burden on commuters.
“So ngayon po… binabalanse lamang po ng Pangulo,” Castro said, adding the move aims to help both drivers and passengers.IMT
