President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi during a courtesy call in Malacañan Palace.
Grossi is in the country for the International High-Level Forum on Nuclear Technology for Controlling Plastic Pollution.
The Philippines is hosting the forum from November 25 to 26.
Also present were DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr., DENR Secretary Raphael Lotilla, and Ambassador Evangelina Lourdes Bernas.
The Philippines, an IAEA member since 1958, continues to boost its nuclear science and technology capabilities through IAEA cooperation programs.IMT
