President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed government agencies to speed up the implementation of vital infrastructure projects to help boost the economy.
According to Palace Press Officer Claire Castro, the order was issued during a meeting with the President’s economic team, where strategies such as digitalization to generate jobs were discussed.
Marcos Jr. also ordered the acceleration of infrastructure projects, particularly the construction of classrooms.
He said the administration will push through with concrete reforms and actions, with priorities including poverty reduction, job generation, health and education, and sustainable development.
To ensure progress, the President directed agencies to submit project status reports every two weeks for close monitoring.IMT
