Several barangays in Iloilo City were flooded on Saturday evening, May 10, due to heavy rains.
Based on the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office’s (CDRRMO) 11 p.m report, 14 Barangays were affected by the flooding.
Majority or 10 of these Barangays were in City Proper, two in Lapuz, and one each in Molo and Jaro.
The affected villages in City Proper were Tanza Timawa II, Kahirupan, Tanza Timawa I, San Jose, Flores, Rizal Estanzuela, San Agustin, Sampaguita, and San Felix.
In Lapuz, the affected villages were Don Esteban and Loboc.
In Molo and Jaro, the affected villages were Taal and Montinola, respectively.
“The general public is advised to monitor advisories and be vigilant of these ever-changing weather conditions,” said CDRRMO.IMT
