A native of Tubungan, Iloilo was among the topnotchers in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
Gizelle Amour Tabangcora, an alumna of West Visayas State University (WVSU) in La Paz Iloilo City, ranked fifth in the exam for Secondary Level.
The former editor-in-chief of SILAK Media, the official student publication of the College of Education (COE) earned a score of 93.00 percent.
Meanwhile, WVSU placed third in the list of top performing schools with a passing rate of 98.63 percent, as 191 out of 194 graduates passed the exam.
A total of 38,747 secondary teachers out of 62,225 examinees and 16,282 elementary teachers out of 34,810 examinees passed the exam.
