Western Visayas bets are unstoppable in the international arena as Ilonggo Alfrence Braza and Negrense Bernalyn Bejoy captured a silver medal each in the 85th Singapore Open Track and Field Championships held at the Singapore Sports Hub.

Braza, a native of Iloilo City, snatched the silver medal in the men’s 1,500-meter event with his 3:56.25 clocking, behind gold medal winner Yad Hapizudin of Indonesia, who had 3:53.99.
