Oil companies began implementing on April 1 a big-time rollback in prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Petron and Phoenix LPG slashed LPG prices by P9.20 per kilogram (kg.) while Solane imposed a P9.18-per-kg. reduction.

The reduction translated to a decrease of P100.98 to P101.20 for an 11-kg. household LPG cylinder.

AutoLPG prices also went down by P5 per liter for Cleanfuel; 5.14 per liter for Petron; and P5.15 per liter for Phoenix.

The lower prices of cooking gas reflected the movement of gas prices in the world market for this month.IMT
