Mayor Raisa Treñas welcomed Undersecretary Nicolas Deloso Torre III, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) general manager, during a courtesy call on June 3 in Iloilo City, the “Bike Capital of the Philippines.”
During their meeting, Treñas and Torre discussed active mobility initiatives, sustainable urban transport, road safety, and the importance of creating more walkable and bike-friendly communities.
Torre served as the Plenary Speaker during the Active Mobility Conference earlier today. He is also set to participate in the Bike to Work activity on Friday, June 5.
