Central Philippine University (CPU) is among the top performing schools in the November 2019 Nurse Licensure Examination.

CPU ranked eighth in the exam given by the Board of Nursing last month. It posted a 95.42 percent passing rate.

The top spot went to the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with a passing rate of 100 percent.

Saint Louis University and De La Salle Med. And Health Sciences Institute (DLSU-DASMA HSC) also ranked number one with both having a 100 percent rate.



A total of 7,627 out of 13,816 passed the exam conducted in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last November.

The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Dec. 6.

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.

On December 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2019, January 3 and January 6-10, 2020, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.IMT
