A male student was found dead inside a building at Central Philippine University (CPU) in Iloilo City on Tuesday afternoon, June 10.
The “untimely death” of the student was confirmed by the CPU administration in an official statement released on Facebook.
“In this incredibly difficult time, we remember in prayer his family, classmates, and friends,” it stated.
The university vowed to “extend full support to his family, and is in close coordination with them.”
The student’s cause of death was not disclosed.
“Let us all respect the family’s privacy during this time of grief,” the administration appealed.IMT
