The Iloilo International Airport is fully prepared to handle the expected influx of travelers during the upcoming holiday rush, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Engineer Diego Eric Abecendario, acting airport and area manager of CAAP) Area VI, assured the public that the facility remains “always prepared” to accommodate passenger surges throughout the year.

While final passenger volume estimates remain pending as airlines have yet to submit updated flight advisories to CAAP, operational preparations are already in place.

Meanwhile, ongoing rehabilitation work within the terminal building continues on schedule and is slated for completion by December.IMT
