InLife has launched Stackbit, its first-ever stackable insurance product that allows Filipinos to build life insurance coverage starting at just P10, making protection more accessible to young adults and first-time insurance buyers.

The new digital-first product was developed in response to the changing financial habits of young Filipinos, particularly Gen Z, who often delay purchasing insurance because they perceive it as expensive or requiring long-term financial commitments.

Stackbit allows customers to gradually increase their life insurance coverage by purchasing additional “stacks” whenever their budget permits, giving them the flexibility to buy coverage when they can afford it, so they don’t have to worry about fixed payment amounts or due date.

“Young Filipinos are financially aware, but many traditional insurance products were designed for a different generation, and one with a greater financial capacity. We wanted to create an experience that feels more natural to the way people live today: simple to start, flexible to maintain so they don’t need to keep up with due dates, fully digital, and according to how much they want to spend,” said InLife Chief Product and Innovation Officer Jose Eduardo O. Ang.

Stackbit reflects the financial behavior of many young Filipinos, who often save and invest gradually while balancing multiple financial priorities such as family responsibilities, bills, and side hustles.

Stackbit offers three protection options to suit different financial goals. Quick Play provides one-year life insurance coverage for customers aged 18 to 55 years old who want higher life insurance coverage for the short term. Power Stack offers 10-year coverage for Filipinos aged 18 to 45 years old, who prefer to steadily build their insurance over time, while Bonus Block, available for Filipinos aged 18 to 40 years old, provides 15-year coverage with a money-back benefit after 15 years, combining long-term protection with future rewards.

Regardless of the variant, customers may begin with as little as ₱10 and add to their insurance coverage over time as their financial capacity grows.

StackBit is fully digital, enabling customers to explore products, register, purchase coverage, and manage their policies online. Policyholders may also choose when and how much additional protection to purchase based on their changing needs.

Supporting the launch is Stack Cat, a digital campaign mascot inspired by the saying that cats have nine lives. Through Stack Cat, InLife encourages Filipinos to protect their one life by starting their insurance journey one small step at a time. Its tagline, “Bit by bit, Life’s a Hit!” highlights the belief that financial protection, like savings, is built gradually.

InLife hopes StackBit will encourage more young Filipinos to view insurance not as something to postpone until later in life, but as financial protection they can begin building today.
