The Department of Agriculture (DA-6) has reported that farmers from Miagao, Iloilo have started to plant bulb onions early this year in view of bouncing back from their production losses in the past year.
The DA-6 cited that the farmers are working on reaching their potential yield this coming harvest season of onions in June.
