Malacañang welcomed Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo’s recognition of the Marcos administration’s efforts in housing, infrastructure, and flood-control projects.
Press Officer Claire Castro said Robredo acknowledged the government’s aggressive implementation of programs aimed at improving Filipinos’ lives.
“Ikinalulugod niya at pinahahalagahan ang mga ginagawa ng administrayon ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. Hindi niya tinatago ang katotohanan sa mga Pilipino ang agresibong pagpapatupad ng pangakong pabahay sa mga benepisyaryo,” Castro said.
The Palace official added that Robredo noted she had not seen the national government move this aggressively on people-centered projects before, particularly in housing.
She also cited Robredo’s recent inspection of flood-control and infrastructure projects in Naga City with government officials, as well as the city’s inclusion in the expanded 4PH housing program.
Earlier, Robredo also thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for declaring Naga the country’s 34th highly urbanized city.IMT
