President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the Department of Education to fully implement the 2026 National Oplan Balik Eskwela ahead of the opening of classes.
According to Malacañang, the program aims to ensure a safe, orderly, and well-prepared start of the school year.
At least 16 government agencies and utility partners have joined the effort, which runs from June 1 to 11.
The agencies will focus on school security, traffic management, health services, communications, electricity, water supply, and disaster monitoring.
Classes nationwide are scheduled to open on June 8.
“Ang mga hakbang na ito ay pagpapakita ng buong pagmamalasakit ng Pangulo sa mga kabataang Pilipino,” Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said.IMT
