President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will visit Canada from July 1 to 4 upon the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
Marcos Jr. and Carney are expected to discuss defense, security, trade, investments, energy, critical minerals, and regional cooperation.
The President will also meet Canadian business leaders to promote investment opportunities in the Philippines and join First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos in activities with the Filipino community in Vancouver.
The trip marks the first official visit of a Philippine president to Canada in more than a decade.IMT
