A Super Health Center worth P10 million will soon rise in Barangay Pasig, Lambunao, Iloilo to serve remote villages.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held on Friday, March 22. It was led by Senator Bong Go, chairperson of the Senate’s health committee.

The Super Health Center is a one-stop shop that offers “a comprehensive range of medical services, including database management, out-patient care, birthing, isolation, diagnostic (laboratory: x-ray and ultrasound), pharmacy, and ambulatory surgical units.”

Nabanggit ko po kanina, the more we should invest sa ating healthcare system.

Funded by the Department of Health (DOH), the Super Health Center is expected to serve 10 remote barangays in the town.

The construction of the center, which will be undertaken by KIT’Z Construction and Supply, is expected to be completed in July this year.

Also present during the ceremony were DOH-6 director Dr. Adriano Subaan, Mayor Reynor Gonzales, Vice Mayor  Arvin Losaria, and Punong Barangay Divina Lemeric.IMT
