The swift response of police personnel thwarted an attempt to rob a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru branch in Tagbak, Jaro, Iloilo City, early Thursday morning, Aug. 27.
In a letter, Dunkin’ Donuts operator Summa Foods Corporation commended Iloilo City Police Station 3 (ICPS 3) for the “prompt and professional response” of its officers during the incident.
The company specifically recognized Police Corporal Roderick Barres and Police Corporal Charlie Joesua Acosta.
“Their immediate arrival and efficient handling of the incident ensured the safety of our staff and secured our premises,” it said.
“We sincerely appreciate their dedication and exemplary service. Thank you for your continued vigilance and support,” the company added.
Police Regional Office (PRO-6) Director Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño also commended the responding officers.
“The recognition received by our personnel shows that prompt, professional, and responsible police action makes a real difference in the safety and security of our communities,”he said.
“More than a commendation, this is an affirmation of the trust placed in our police officers. May this inspire all PRO-6 personnel to remain alert, dependable, and committed to serving the public with dedication, integrity, and compassion,” Tuaño added.IMT
