Three universities in Iloilo City produced topnotchers in the August-September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination.

West Visayas State University (WVSU) had four topnotchers in the board exam, the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) showed.

Criselyn Marie Dela Cruz ranked sixth with a rating of 91.20 percent while LJ Orpheus Soriano placed ninth with a 90.60-percent rating.

Paula Marie Deloria and GM Grace Garovillo tied for the 10th place with a rating of 90.40 percent.

Meanwhile, Central Philippine University (CPU) and St. Paul University-Iloilo (SPUI) had one topnotcher each.

CPU alumnus Roi Christian Pachica secured the fourth spot while SPUI graduate Nathan Gaviola placed seventh with ratings of 91.60 percent and 91.00 percent, respectively.

WVSU and SPUI also emerged as top performing schools in the board exam with a perfect 100-percent passing rate.

All 89 and 121 examinees from WVSU and SPUI, respectively, passed the board exam given by the Board of Nursing.

A total of 28,652 out of 37,359 individuals who took the exam passed, yielding a 76.69-percent success rate.IMT
