The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) seized more than two kilograms of suspected “shabu” valued at approximately P14.6 million and arrested 81 individuals during an intensified month-long anti-illegal drug campaign throughout July 2026.

According to official police reports, the ICPO executed a total of 68 targeted anti-illegal drug operations across various districts from July to 31.

The operations resulted in the confiscation of 2,156.84 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price (SDP) of P14,666,484.12, as well as 8.15 grams of suspected marijuana.

Among the 81 suspects apprehended during the operations, 24 were classified as high-value individuals (HVIs), while 57 were identified as street-level individuals (SLIs).

The Iloilo City Drug Enforcement Unit (ICDEU) spearheaded the month’s biggest bust, netting 1,215.84 grams of suspected shabu worth P8,267,739.80 and arresting 11 suspects.

Other key operational highlights include:
▪️Iloilo City Police Station 9 (ICPS9): Confiscated 369.32 grams of suspected shabu valued at P2,511,345.40 and arrested 11 individuals.
▪️ Iloilo City Police Station 2 (ICPS2): Recovered 208.02 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,414,540.00, resulting in five arrests.
▪️Iloilo City Police Station 10 (ICPS10): Seized 153.10 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,041,107.80, leading to the arrest of seven suspects.

Police officials noted that all operating units and precinct stations across the city contributed to the campaign’s success.

Police Colonel Wilbert B. Parilla, ICPO director, commended the dedicated efforts of law enforcement officers and reaffirmed the command’s stance on eradicating illegal drug networks in the city.

“Our intensified anti-illegal drug operations will continue with greater determination. With the strong support of the community, local government units, and our partner law enforcement agencies, we will sustain our efforts and deliver stronger results in our fight against illegal drugs,” he said.
