Iloilo City has started the 100-day countdown to the 2027 Dinagyang Festival, which will mark its 59th year in January.

“Dinagyang is more than a festival—it is the story of who we are as Ilonggos. Sa patik-patik sang drums, colorful costumes, kag faithful devotion sang aton mga pumuluyo, makita naton ang kaanyag sang aton kultura kag pagtuo,” Mayor Raisa Treñas said in a Facebook post.

The 2025 Dinagyang Festival won Best Tourism Event: Cultural Festival at the 2026 Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) Pearl Awards. Iloilo City also received top honors in five categories.
