President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has called for stronger efforts to protect Filipino students following recent violent incidents in schools and the deaths of two student-athletes during a team-building activity.

In his BBMVLOG, Marcos Jr. urged government agencies, schools, parents, teachers, and communities to work together to keep children safe.

“Kailangang maprotektahan ang ating mga kabataan,” the President said.

He directed education, police, health, and local government agencies to strengthen school safety measures and reminded schools to strictly enforce safety protocols during classes, field trips, and other activities.

Marcos Jr. also urged parents to spend more time with their children.
