President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will proceed with his usual Independence Day activities on June 12 despite reports of an alleged destabilization plot, according to Malacañang.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the President’s schedule for the 128th anniversary of Philippine Independence will remain unchanged.

The Palace has yet to release the President’s official June 12 itinerary, which traditionally includes the flag-raising and wreath-laying rites at the Rizal Monument and the Vin d’Honneur reception in Malacañang.

While no validated information has been received regarding any destabilization effort, Castro warned those allegedly plotting to create unrest.
