The Philippines and Vietnam signed four agreements after elevating their relationship to an Enhanced Strategic Partnership.
The agreements were presented to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vietnam President To Lam following their bilateral meeting in Malacañang.
Among the deals signed were agreements on defense cooperation, tourism cooperation, and information technology and digital transformation.
The two countries also signed an agreement involving the University of the Philippines and a Vietnamese public administration institution.
The Marcos administration said the agreements are expected to deepen cooperation and strengthen ties between Manila and Hanoi in key sectors.IMT
