A transportation hub connecting three major business points in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, is being eyed to provide residents, visitors, workers, and shoppers with a more efficient and convenient commuting experience.

City Mayor Raisa Treñas disclosed that she recently with private sector representatives to discuss the proposed hub with routes serving commuters to and from Iloilo Business Park (IBP), SM City Iloilo Complex, and Atria Park District.

The three business points, tagged as the city’s “economic business triangle,” is owned and operated by private companies. These hosts, among others, the city’s biggest hotels, malls, and business process outsourcing (BPO) firms.

“Nag-meet kita upod kay Allan Tan, business groups, kag aton City Legal Officer Atty. Joseph Edward Areño para diskusyonan ang proposed transport hub,” she said in a statement.

“Ini sa tuyo nga mapalig-on ang accessibility kag connectivity sa mga importante nga commercial areas sang siyudad. Padayon kita sa dialogue kag coordination para sa mas integrated kag efficient nga ekonomiya sa siyudad sang Iloilo,” she added.IMT
