The Iloilo City Government’s ATIPAN Center has assisted a total of 26,092 Ilonggos from August 2025 to June 2026, under the first year of the administration of Mayor Raisa Treñas.

Reflecting the city’s strengthened commitment to making government services more accessible and responsive,  the ATIPAN is a flagship program and brainchild of Mayor Treñas, which serves as a one-stop assistance center that connects residents to various social welfare, health, livelihood, education, and financial assistance programs.

Records show that 11,532 clients availed of social services, the highest among all service categories, while 6,764 individuals received financial assistance.

The center also provided 2,870 health and dental services, 923 livelihood and education services, and 1,430 burial assistance to qualified beneficiaries.

One of the beneficiaries of the ATIPAN Center is Grace Gabaiza, 36, a housewife from Barangay San Juan, Molo, who availed of the city’s burial assistance.

” Daku gid nga bulig sa amon ang Atipan sa amon minatay kay pigado gid daan subong,” Grace said.

Grace was also informed about the city’s new medical assistance program, HAPLOS (Health Assistance sa Pumuluyo, Laboratory kag Ospital Serbis), through which qualified beneficiaries may receive up to ₱50,000 in medical assistance per quarter. This can also be availed through ATIPAN.

She expressed her gratitude for the program, saying it gives residents in need a place to turn to for medical assistance during difficult times.

Meanwhile, more than 91 wheelchairs were distributed to residents in need through the ATIPAN Center in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH). Through the center, the city government’s Pabunyag sa Syudad free baptism program also welcomed 195 children into the Christian faith, while 305 couples were united through the Free Mass Wedding program.

On the other hand, the Help and Assistance Desks accommodated 1,391 clients on the ground floor and 1,182 clients on the seventh floor, ensuring that residents were properly guided and referred to the appropriate offices for their needs.

The figures underscore the growing role of the ATIPAN Center as a frontline hub for public service delivery, bringing essential government assistance closer to Ilonggos through a more efficient and citizen-centered approach.
