A possible sisterhood agreement between Iloilo City and Polomolok, South Cotabato is being explored following a recent visit by a local official from the municipality.
Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas said Polomolok Councilor Joar Falcon recently visited the city with his wife for benchmarking activities at MORE Power and the Iloilo Terminal Public Market.

“We exchanged insights and discussed their interest in exploring a possible sisterhood agreement with Iloilo City,” Treñas said in a Facebook post.
According to her, exchanges like these help local governments learn from each other and open opportunities for future partnerships that could benefit their communities.
The mayor expressed hope that sharing best practices among local government units would lead to more opportunities for collaboration and shared progress.IMT
