Senator Ping Lacson said former DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan could reveal key details if he becomes a state witness in the flood control scandal.

He said Bonoan’s testimony may expose those involved in questionable flood control and infrastructure projects.

“Those who had direct dealings with him must be quaking in their boots,” according to him.

Lacson, however, stressed that Bonoan should also return public funds allegedly lost in the anomalies and not just testify.

He said any restitution should be based on earlier testimonies presented before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee regarding the alleged kickbacks in flood control projects.IMT
