President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday, April 16, announced the arrest of former Ako Bicol Rep. Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co in Prague.
“Nahuli na si Zaldy Co,” he said on social media platform X.
According to Marcos, Co is now detained in Prague after entering the Czech Republic without proper documents and is under the custody of Czech authorities.
The President said the Philippine government is coordinating with Czech officials to ensure proper legal processes and to bring Co back to the Philippines as soon as possible.
“We will keep the public informed as developments unfold,” Marcos added.IMT
